Absidon Games New Web Design

I’m was going through and thinking about some things. It isn’t good for business to have the main company site as a blog and my personal blog site isn’t used, so I thought to move this blog over to it and then post some more of my personal and business stuff on it. One place would make posts more frequent.

The new design will be fairly basic and list the games, which will include some items for each.

  • a pic of the main web site for the design
  • a gallery of the game pages
  • the total amount of members
  • the amount of active players
  • Links to the main site, the trac game site and bug tracker

There will also be main links to the game engine trac site and wiki.

Overall, I want it to be very basic with one main page and gallery for each of the games. Everything should be able to fit on the one page (other than the gallery images of course).

Forums

The forums will be moved back to forums.absidongames.com and will list all of the forums for the games and general information.

What About DragonU?

DragonU, will also be changed with a similar design to help jumpstart my web development “business”. It will list my current projects and past projects, and showcase my skills, experience, and resume.

When Will This Go Down?

After I finish development on Gamehole,which shouldn’t be more than a month from now. The development of Gamehole is also helping the development of the Game Engine, so not a lot of time is lost during the development the Game Engine by working on Gamehole. It is also the first real job at web development, you can be sure I’m going to pimp all out on the changes and involvement.
