Gamehole! Phase Planning

Any major features not finished, will be done afterwards, but other minor features won’t be completed, unless they are completely simple and would only take a few seconds. The rest of the site will go into maintenance mode only for bug and security fixes.

I have so far devoted a great deal of time towards this project and I’m going to move on after this month. I feel I will revisit in in another 6 months to a year after this month is finished to add in any AJAX features I’ve learned on the way. However, other projects beg for my attention and after all administration and user features are completed, I don’t think any more could be done for the site.

Why 6+ Months

I would like to review the suggestions that people have as well as how many features are actually being used. A true post-mortem as well as a review of the code base will be done then.

I should also have completed several other projects that I had in mind and wouldn’t have them nagging on my mind for completion. Other projects will take more than two months to complete, like the game projects, but I feel devoting another two months in 6 months would give me enough contemplation and skill to really tear Gamehole a new asshole.

That is unless the owner has found a new programmer, then no regrets, I’ll continue on with my own projects.
