Quest For Magic: Vincent Draft 1

My story begins shortly after my fourth birthday, as I was sent to grammar school. My parents said it was needed since I would take over my father business some day after I grow up. That was good since I wanted that since they first taught me to read and write. Since I already knew how to read and write I was ahead of most of my class. My peers knew of my father and his wealth, so most of them didn’t treat me right. The others feared the bullies so they didn’t talk to me so I was alone but that didn’t matter because I was there to learn. I made friends with most of the teachers but some treated me like the bullies and my grades reflected it. It was all of these problems that I couldn’t wait to go home in the summer.

The school where I went was a big and old building that has fireplaces in each classroom but some rooms used magic to heat the room. The older students got to learn magic but I wouldn’t be here that long so I didn’t think much about it. The main place that I liked was the library because no one can do anything to you there and it is quiet so you can study and read all you want. I mostly explored the different aspects of fighting and practiced it down in a place in the basement part of the library. Two stories of old and new books of information but hardly anyone went down there so I trained down there.

I also explored the basement part of the huge library because it had many rooms and books of different subjects. A lot on magic but all were copies of the original book, so I didn’t pay attention to them. All of the original books were in the capital of Da Dun Alma and that was in the other country over a thousand miles away. Even so I would read the basics of magic, not spells but how to do spells. I also practiced creating magic, creating my own spells but all I could do was cast light or make things to glow when I was calm. I was out looking for more information, one day when I came across a door I never seen before. I been around the area plenty of times but I have never seen this room and I would have.
