There wasn’t much special about the door, it looked like any hard, wood, elaborate door in the building but there was something different about the door. It felt different, which I never felt anything from a door before so I concentrated on the door, then open my eyes and saw something that wasn’t there before. On the door were runes of magic, glowing with a ghostly light. I reached out to touch it but before I touched it my mind was filled with intense fear and my face broke out with sweat. I knew then that if I had touched it, that it would have absorbed my mind and killed me the best efficient way, mentally.
I went back to concentrating on the door and seeking a way to open it without touching it physically. I searched the whole door, always with the fear in my back of my mind haunting and teasing me. My mind went back to the runes and I saw the solution in it and when I opened my eyes, the door was open. I went in cautiously with the fear gone but replaced with uncertainly. It was dark and musky in the room with dampness in the air. It took me a while to light the room but after I saw it clearly.
The room has built of stone that was covered with greenish brown tint. Water dripped through the cracks in the ceiling and the floored was tiled with a spiral maze design that went to the center of the room. In the center there was a pool of water and I could get there by just walking across the water to it but I like challenges so I choose the maze. I brought out my magic then to search out the best way to the center. It took me some time to get to the center by this method but it was worth it because I felt something odd about the room. I turn around to look at the door and saw something that scared me.
