I decided to camp out and read some of the magic in the books. A little bit after dusk, I heard shouts and I jumped up. A boy ran past me followed by a few men. I ran after them using my invisibility shield so they wouldn’t see me. Unfortunately they could still hear me so I had to keep quiet. When I finally caught up with the men and boy, they had him surrounded. I felt sorry but I decided to wait for a little bit to see why they chased him. After a while I found out that he belonged to a family that they had killed to gain their possessions. I was horribly mad at that, so I attacked them with my sword. My armor was heavy but I was able to move fluidly in it. Their blows to my armor were reflected by my movements and by the toughness of the armor. I thought it wouldn’t have held out against their attacks but it is stronger than I had first thought. After ten minutes of fighting they were kneeling in pain or running away from me. I went to the boy and asked him his name.
He told me it and I told him mine. I told him that we should get moving toward the village so that we would be save for when they came back. He told me that we couldn’t go back to the village because it is over run by thieves and rapists. I asked him how many were in there and if any of them knew magic as we walked. He said that none of them knew magic and he asked me what I was going to do. I told him I was going to go back to the village and talk them into leaving. He told me that I was crazy and I would be killed. I asked him if he was any good with a sword and he told me that he was trained by the best in the country. Even he couldn’t defeat all of them when they attacked.
I left him there and went back to the village; on the way I met some of the robbers and cut their throats before they knew I was there. I was invisible and they didn’t see me coming. When I got to the village it was totally chaos. Men were fighting over women, common metals, and food when there was plenty to go around. I created a new form of skeleton that Samith told me about but never showed me. I created 10 skeleton mages of death and 5 skeletons to back them up. The robbers saw them and got up to attack but the skeletons were strong then they were. They were easily cut down but the simple skeletons. I created a fire orb and threw it one of the buildings then I threw another one at all of the builds. Soon everyone that survived was outside. There were about 25 of them and they destroyed the last of my skeletons. I took off the invisibility shield and brought my sword out to attack them. They were weak and poorly trained; their whole tactics were in mass and fear. I didn’t fear them and I was better trained and stronger than most of them. Soon only the strong were still standing. I threw a fireball at them and it killed two of them automatically. With only 10 standing, I knew it was the end for me but as they raised their swords to finish me off the boy came from behind me and killed three of them outright while they defense was down. It boost my strength to know that someone was helping me. We killed the rest of them while they frozen with surprise.
