After we left the village freeing those that were trap, I asked him where he was going. He didn’t know but he wanted to train some more. He like my moves so I told him who trained me and his eyes went wide. “You mean THE Samith!†he said. Yes I told him and we came to a crossroads. He told me where each way went, to the left led to a castle with a good king but the other way led to another small village. He told me that he had family in the village so we went right. When we got to the village we found it in ruins; left was a note saying that all that oppose the robbers would be killed. We went to the castle then and requested to talk to the King and Queen. We were given admittance when the boy told the massager that we were from the ruin village on the 10 miles from the castle. The King told us that by the time the army got there it was to late and they didn’t have the resources to go after the robbers. The Queen told us that to just leave it alone and go on our way. The told us that a girl survived and we should find her.
We found her but the King’s guards attacked us. We barely made it out of the castle the boy was cut up pretty bad but I healed him. Healing him left me drained because I haven’t done a healing spell before. It would have been easier to throw a holy orb at him but it was risky if only used on cuts and gashes. We ran away as quick as we could and when we got out of range she thanked us for almost getting her killed. We asked her what happened. She told us that the village was attacked because the robbers asked to have the village and everything in it from the castle. We both stared at her in disbelieve angered. She continued and said that the village didn’t know of this and the villagers fought back but the villagers weren’t trained in combat and were defeated by the ruthless attackers. She and some others escaped and went to the castle for protection but when we got the King and Queen they sent their guards on us when the locked the doors. I hid behind the curtains in the fighting they didn’t notice me. I overheard them; they were working with the robbers for a percentage of the precious metals they find. They thought the village was stealing from them so they sent the robbers to destroy it. The other Kings and Queens that weren’t taking apart of the joining of thieves and vagabonds wouldn’t like it. They feared that the other kingdoms in the country would join together to defeat them. This kingdom didn’t have the resources to beat off all of the other kingdoms. Their plans were horrible; they were going to send the vagabonds off to other kingdoms and steal from them so they can attack them later on. They even have villages and towns that train commoners to be thieves so they can join a vagabond. It is horrible she would say. She went on to say that the King and Queen were puppets of a more powerful country or kingdom. She didn’t hear because she had to escape before they found her.
