I told her that we had to warn the other kingdoms of their plight. She asked me what could a bunch of kids do? We could start by telling the adults what the dangers are. She told me that they wouldn’t listen and ignore us. I told her that we would get proof that it exists but she countered with the facts that we would we get that proof? I didn’t know but we would have to try. Anything simple to get their attention first and ask them only to send out scouts to prove our accusations. We sent off after that and found a large camp of three vagabonds. I stopped the group before I went on and brought up my Invisibility shield that was getting a lot easier to control and faster to call up.
I walked in to the came and over heard a few of them talk of the upcoming plans for the other kingdoms villages and towns. They also were going to burn the captured prisoners in other countries to show that they mean business. I made my way to the where the prisoners were and found two cages. One cage had humans some were children and I guess the adults were their parents. The other cage had huge black men with weird looking faces. When I got up to the cage I heard a robber call out ogres like it was a cuss word. I suppose that is what they were but what would they have done to be put down so fiercely. I knew they were strong, very strong; in fact I guess with all of them together they could tear up their cage and attack the robbers. By the way the robbers went out of their way to avoid the cage the vagabond knew that also. Why would they cage the ogres up in something they knew they could break out of then? Then I noticed that some of them were staring right at looking at me and not at the ground behind me. Their eyes were daggers looking at me; I knew they could see me even with the shield. I looked around frighten that my shield was off and the vagabond could also see me but either they think I’m part of the vagabond or don’t want to get near the cage to mess with me. I left the camp then and told the boy and girl what I saw. They both told me that we should free the prisoners but they didn’t know how. I told them we could use the ogres. They looked at me like I was crazy but nodded.
