I passed through the gates concealed from view and wandered aimlessly in the town. I passed to the market place when I was done and sought to buy supplies. While I was walking someone bumped into me and my spell was broken. The people looked at the boy taking my wallet and didn’t take notice that I wasn’t seen walking in the gates. The boy took off and I scampered to catch him. He passed through an alley and I dashed in but when I passed through I couldn’t see him anywhere. The booked had something for tracking, a simple trick to do and all you need is to have something of his or something of yours to track. He had my wallet with some of my money. No rich person puts all their money in one place because of thieves.
I tracked the wallet to its source and came to a building that was almost falling down. I walked through to there and the wind blew up dust. When it cleared I could no longer be seen and a team of thieves were waiting but found no one. They ran off thinking I was a ghost but they were in the necromancer country up north pass the mountains. I didn’t stop to tell them that and walked into the building. The wallet was upstairs so I walked up the creaky stairs and passed through the door to the room where my wallet was. I saw that he was there also counting the money that was there.
I became visible and asked him for my money. He stared at me in fright and gave the money without a word. I took it and passed a few coins to him to let him know I wasn’t completely heartless. I turned around and saw what made him frightful. A support beam had fell, the last and only one holding up the roof. The walls could only hold up the roofs and second floor for so long. A girl came in that was my age and I grabbed her then rushed out with him following me. The roof collapsed on to the second floor but we were almost to the door out. He passed me and grabbed the girl out of my hands and flew out of the door with me following not far behind. I tripped on an object and fell short of the door. I jumped up and out the door before it collapses again. I didn’t feel the extra weight that was on me till I was out in the street and some of the town was there.
