A doll of which the girl was screaming for was on my pants leg. Holding on for its dear life. I knocked it off me and came after me again. I took out my dagger that was given for me and sliced it through the air, cutting the doll in two down from the shoulder to the waist. The doll fell lifeless to the ground and the girl ran up to it. It started to cry but I didn’t know why. I tried to ask her why she was crying but someone took me and lead me away to the market. I finished my business and went on my way.
During the night I dreamed that the trees had faces and some had awesome teeth in their mouths with hateful grins. I also dreamed that the earth called them away and the teeth and hateful stares disappeared. When I awoke I was off the path and sleeping beside a tree. I was lost and didn’t remember being brought here. I looked around and then a whisper sounded that pointed me to the right way. I took no notice that the tree behind me had some resemblance of a face. When I at last I found the path, I started my journey again.
The next town wasn’t that eventful as the last since they had a wizard and guards posted around the perimeter of the towns walls, gates and in the market. I did my business and left on my way but before I could pass through the gates a wizard stopped asking me what the last town I was in was and I told him. He said if the doll had been killed and vanquished. I told him I didn’t know if it was vanquished but it was dead. He asked me if the girl was killed and I told him that I didn’t know. I asked him why the girl had to die and he told me. I looked sadly at him and he didn’t know why. I left him and traveled as fast as I could to get out of there. I hated some people because they treat some people as pigs. The trail soon branched off and I came to a dense forest trail that would take me to my home.
My town was only a mile off and the forest path to it was curved and windy. It was faster to cut across but unsafe because you could get turned around and take a day or two to find the trail again. With the trail as it is it would take an hour to walk instead of three time intervals. I love the forest trail in summer because it is so beautiful. The red, blue, purple, and yellow flowers on the side of the road and the odor of them make it smell like the days at the park.
