For my NET-175 class, I needed a project that I haven’t really explored that much and would enjoy enough to start before the project was due.

The second project is something I’ve been contemplating for a while now and I really would like to have done it for a IAD class. The programming classes doesn’t require research papers and presentations. The Why PHP Games? presentation is a mock Call For Papers project.

PHP HTTP Server

I’m going to build a HTTP server in PHP to display working knowledge of HTTP protocol. The paper and presentation isn’t going to have all that much PHP coding. There will be a little, but the class is Networking Hardware and Software, not programming.

Why PHP Games?

I’ve been planning this for some time, Probably going to be around 50 to 100 slides as that would be a lot of stuff to cover. Mostly it is to complete the first part that I wrote some time ago. It will just be more organized.

As for the mock Call for Papers, I don’t think it would ever be accepted or acceptable. It would be fun to really put the concept to action so to gather how many people would find it interesting.
