I’m back to using Google Analytics, this time I’m using a plugin, so if I switch themes I no longer have to manually add the code in. I built a really simple plugin that does this, but it was for work, so I couldn’t release it. Although, it would be nothing to rewrite it and release it.
I want to see how many people are visiting this site, for what reason, and how long they stay. I already know from previous stats, that most people come to the site from search engine and then leave immediately after. The content I write for the most part is not serial, so if you are looking for something, most likely I haven’t written anything else that you will be interested in.
Also, about 80% of my other posts are just me, talking to myself. Pretty much like now, so no one is going to read this and if they do they won’t stay very long and will be gone soon after stumbling on to this site. I’m unsure where I want to take this, do I really want more people to visit and read my rumblings? Not really, I can be pretty damn insane and I don’t want to tone it down.
Let’s say, for example, that I write a post about kidnapping some random person and then torturing and finally murdering that person. I would hope it would be wickedly clever as a fictional novelette. I think the reason I haven’t done so already, is because this is a personal blog and I don’t want the cops knocking down my door, and asking me questions about some non-existent person. It is extremely difficult to explain that there is no body, when someone is asking you where you buried the body.
If I killed someone, you can be damn sure I wouldn’t tell anyone and I mean not a soul that I did so. Fortunately, if the police ever did knock down my door, I can be reasonably assured that I would be let go. If there exists no evidence, then there can be no conviction or trial, unless I lived out in some hick town and they were aiming for a conviction, even if the person didn’t do it (would also make for a good novelette).
Okay, so I’m not crazy and I’m tracking how many people do come to my site. I’m not doing this because I’m thinking of adding ads to the site (well, okay, that is a lie). It would make sense for those who search for raping games to have an ad for a raping game, so that I can forward those 1 or 2 people a day on to another site that will actually be what they are looking for and make some money off of it. Oh yeah, if you found this site because you are looking for a game that allows you to rape people, imagine me giving you the finger and then shove that finger up your ass, pull it out, and then repeat about a couple more 1000 times. Thanks. Now blow your damn brains out freak!
Oh yeah, I’m pretty sure if I did ever add ads to the site, I would be slapping the faces of everyone that comes to the site and besides that, I also wouldn’t make any money.
