That seems ludicrous to me. I even try my best to document my little plugins to make sure people can understand how things work under the hood. I initially didn't bother as I didn't think anyone would care about how they worked, but as soon as people started tinkering with them I began moving towards documenting everything internally as well as possible. Thanks very much for the work you did. I now use the internal WP documentation fairly regularly for anything I can't find out from the codex or other sources. Why on earth would someone start a project and NOT include inline documentation? That seems ludicrous to me. I probably look at this documentation on a daily basis and it has saved my rear many times over. I'm sure it was an insanely tedious and boring task, but this information is helping more and more people become comfortable with the WordPress API and inner-workings and we all have you to thank for that!
