I day dream most of the time I'm not coding. Over the years I've been switching between multiple different stories that have allocated a lot of back story and events. The problem has always been how to take what I remember and write it out. With practice and starting to write out what I have, I should have some great stories that play out over the course of writing for 7 years.

Quest For Magic

This is probably what I've spent the most time on and I have multiple drafts detailing different events. I'm going to start the story much later or focus more on the school life for the first several chapters or the first book at least. The problem has always been for me that I find it hard to write a lot about the school events. However, there are events that I have set in motion for the main character that could be better played out during travels or field trips.

I also detail a lot of traveling, almost in real time the events and travels. I need to switch over to only telling the events and descriptions that the reader needs to know and not extra crap that no one cares about.

Obiturary Of Josh

A story of redemption, depression, crime and lost. What it means to fall into throat crushing hand of despair. I don't want it to be a secret that the main character dies at the end of the story. Planning and outlines have much of the ending at the beginning as the events unfold.

The complexity of the story comes from the interactions of the characters that conclude with the final chapter. The other bits have been deciding what scenes and how many books are in the series. I have long decided that it should be a lone book encompassing the story.

The story was partially inspired by the Death character from Neil Gaiman's Books of Magic series. Well, that isn't correct. Death appears in the Books of Magic comic, but isn't a major character. The story was a nightmare that went from a simple beginning to something more defined.

The name Josh has no relation to anyone alive or dead. It is simply a name I pulled out because I had to choose a name that no one I knew had at the time.

Spirit Keeper

Spirit Keeper is a manga project that kind of disbanded, but I'm going to pick up where I left off and try to write out a story. Like Obiturary of Josh I want to have at least a 100 pages, before I start looking for any artists. The reason for it, is so that I have something to show where the story beginnings and to show that I'm serious about the story coming together.

Unlike Obiturary of Josh, I have no plans to write a book about the characters. It is more of the team's story, than mine, so I can't take credit for every thing in the story to be able to write a book.
